Wild Grasses Occasion Necklace

This Wild Grasses occasion necklace in sterling silver features six hand-enamelled strands overlaid with five polished silver strands. The design is enhanced with a 4mm moonstone and 2mm cubic zirconia set by hand in our workshop in Orkney, and elegantly hangs from a sterling silver neckwire. This design is enamelled in 'Meadow' enamel in our Orkney workshop. The wild and windswept coastlines of Orkney and Caithness, in the north of Scotland, are covered with hardy marram grass, which sweeps from side to side in the sea breezes. This inspired Sheila to create here 'Wild Grasses' collection, delicate free-flowing designs, layered with silver or gold, enamel and gemstones.
